On January 10, a conflict between two drivers occurred on the 60th Anniversary of the Komsomol Bridge over traffic jam priority. One of the drivers, a 36-year-old resident of the Kirovsky District, used a non-lethal weapon, shooting the other in the face. The injured driver, a 44-year-old Hyundai Creta, was hospitalized with a laceration to his cheek and a hand injury. There were young children in both cars at the time of the incident. Criminal investigators detained the shooter at his residence. A non-lethal pistol, hunting rifles, and ammunition were found in his apartment. The suspect is under a travel restriction. He faces up to seven years in prison for "hooliganism."
