Two people charged with abusing six children with baseball bats and hoarding animals in a deplorable home

Robert Christensen Jr., 39, and Ashley Dishart-Christensen, 35, are accused of abusing six children, ages 4 to 11, in their Pennsylvania home

The children told investigators they were beaten with bats, hockey sticks, and other objects

An 11-year-old ran away in August 2025 after being chased with a bat; she said she had also been hit and choked months earlier

Police found the home covered in feces and animals in filthy cages

Reports of abuse had been received since 2019

Dishart-Christensen posted $150,000 bail. Christensen remains in Lancaster County Prison on $425,000 bail
