Florida fentanyl trafficker tells officers, “Let me call my mom,” after trying to flee during arrest

Deputies spotted a car with a tag that didn’t belong to it

The sheriff’s office said “a little research” revealed the driver, Dillon Cottrell, had an open warrant for occupied burglary

During the traffic stop, Cottrell tried to accelerate and ram his way “out of trouble.”

Deputies recovered a trafficking amount of fentanyl and methamphetamine from the vehicle
