A man is in critical condition and three others in hospital after being stabbed in a knife attack on a high street in south London. The stabbings in Bromley followed reports of a number of people being seen in the area carrying machetes. Police confirmed they responded to reports of an “altercation” in Bromley High Street at around 2.15pm. They found the four men who had been stabbed and London Ambulance Service said they were all taken to hospital. One is in a critical condition. Seven people have been arrested and remain in police custody. One person has been arrested and charged, while another remains at-large, following a double stabbing in Mississauga on Saturday night. The incident, which investigators initially described as an altercation with a “possible stabbing,” happened at a shopping plaza in the Cooksville neighbourhood near Dundas Street West and Parkerhill Road, just west of Hurontario Street. Peel Regional Police said at around 5 p.m. officers responded to a call for a disturbance in a parking lot. “Upon arrival, officers located two adult men suffering from stab wounds following a reported parking dispute,” they said in a news release. “Both victims were transported to hospital with serious injuries and are now in stable condition.” Police said officers at the scene searched the area and quickly located one of the suspects without incident. Ali Halimi, 30, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with assault. The charge has not been tested in court. A second male suspect, whom police believe stabbed the victims and is in possession of the knife, remains outstanding. Birmingham Hodge Hill murder investigation as a man who goes by the name of Zeeshan Shaukat was killed on his doorstep. Certain Aries in Birmingham have gone into lockdown. Police will be using stop and search powers in an area of Birmingham following a fatal stabbing. A man in his 30s died in hospital on Friday after being found with stab wounds in the Hodge Hill area of the city on Tuesday. West Midlands Police said a murder investigation was underway and it has appealed for witnesses and further information. MERCED, Calif. — A 15-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed during a fight Sunday night at the Merced County Fair. Deputies with the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, who were working at the fairgrounds, responded to the carnival area for a physical altercation. When they arrived, they found a teen suffering from several stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he remained in critical condition. Investigators identified three suspects as 26-year-old Nathaniel Yanez and two juveniles. A 17-year-old girl is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in the neck. Armed officers from Lancashire Police were deployed to the scene in Brierfield, near Nelson, and arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. The force said it had been called to Wood Street at 15:06 BST following reports that a girl had been stabbed in the back of the neck. It is understood her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A force spokesperson said: "We know that this will cause alarm in the local community and extra patrols will be in the area this evening to provide reassurance." A 21-year-old man remains in hospital in a serious condition after reports of a disorder on Foundry Lane, Smethwick last night (26 May). A 19-year-old man and two 18-year-olds have been arrested on suspicion of wounding and remain in police custody. Officers attended the scene just before 9.30pm where there was a large gathering. They are carrying out CCTV enquiries and speaking to witnesses and are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch. A teenage boy was stabbed on Brighton seafront next to a crowded beach on bank holiday Monday, police have said. Sussex Police said it received reports of a large group of people fighting in the area of Shelter Hall food court, on Kings Road Arches, at about 21:30 BST. The victim, a boy from Surrey, was taken to hospital for treatment, where his injuries were confirmed to be superficial.
