Birmingham Hodge Hill murder investigation as a man who goes by the name of Zeeshan Shaukat was killed on his doorstep. Certain Aries in Birmingham have gone into lockdown. Police will be using stop and search powers in an area of Birmingham following a fatal stabbing. A man in his 30s died in hospital on Friday after being found with stab wounds in the Hodge Hill area of the city on Tuesday. West Midlands Police said a murder investigation was underway and it has appealed for witnesses and further information. Her name is Phyllis Robinson. She's 63 years old. A social worker. A woman who spent her career caring for other people. On Monday afternoon, she was doing the most ordinary thing in the world. Shopping. In Inkster, Michigan. Around 3:15 in the afternoon. Police say a 22-year-old man named Stephen Ross walked up, grabbed a knife right off the store's own shelf, and st*bbed her over and over. Her side. Her stomach. Her back. Twelve times, her daughter says. Police say it was COMPLETELY random. Completely unprovoked. She did not know this man. He just… picked her. Phyllis was put into an induced coma. She's in the ICU fighting for her life. "I hold her hand. I cleaned her fingernails because she had residue from bl00d under her nails." Police say Ross lived in a group home half a mile away. And a worker from that home told reporters he was known to be "mentally ill and violent." That "any little thing could tick him off. Even a person telling him no." Turns out... he was charged previously in 2024 for assault and battery and was LET OUT into a group home and allowed to wander the streets. And a 63-year-old social worker is now in an induced coma because that danger was walking free in a Dollar Tree. He's charged with assault with intent to m*rder. GOOD. He is remanded to jail, exactly where he belongs. Please pray for this family and for Phyllis Robinson. Pray she comes home to her family. MERCED, Calif. — A 15-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed during a fight Sunday night at the Merced County Fair. Deputies with the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, who were working at the fairgrounds, responded to the carnival area for a physical altercation. When they arrived, they found a teen suffering from several stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he remained in critical condition. Investigators identified three suspects as 26-year-old Nathaniel Yanez and two juveniles. A 17-year-old girl is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in the neck. Armed officers from Lancashire Police were deployed to the scene in Brierfield, near Nelson, and arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. The force said it had been called to Wood Street at 15:06 BST following reports that a girl had been stabbed in the back of the neck. It is understood her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A force spokesperson said: "We know that this will cause alarm in the local community and extra patrols will be in the area this evening to provide reassurance." A 21-year-old man remains in hospital in a serious condition after reports of a disorder on Foundry Lane, Smethwick last night (26 May). A 19-year-old man and two 18-year-olds have been arrested on suspicion of wounding and remain in police custody. Officers attended the scene just before 9.30pm where there was a large gathering. They are carrying out CCTV enquiries and speaking to witnesses and are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch. A teenage boy was stabbed on Brighton seafront next to a crowded beach on bank holiday Monday, police have said. Sussex Police said it received reports of a large group of people fighting in the area of Shelter Hall food court, on Kings Road Arches, at about 21:30 BST. The victim, a boy from Surrey, was taken to hospital for treatment, where his injuries were confirmed to be superficial. Det Insp Jen Pietersen, of Brighton CID, said: "We know the beach was extremely crowded at the time of this incident and we're urging anyone who can assist in our inquiries to please come forward."
