Good grief! A methhead sheriff's deputy in Sacramento County, CA, smoked drugs he confiscated, thinking it was meth. It was fentanyl. Coworkers found him passed out on the floor and revived him with Narcan.

This happened in Oct 2023, but it's being reported now.

P.S. I really don't think anyone needs to be informed that his coworkers suffered emotional distress from the experience

How did the partner know that was the reason without first doing an aid check, HOW?




A more likely scenario is his partner knew he was in there getting his fix, took too long so checked on him and knew immediately what was up.

No need to check for a heart attack, no concern about a gas leak, he knew EXACTLY what the problem was.»
