When they arrived, body camera footage shows two officers rushing towards 34-year-old Charles Neace, yelling, "Let me see your hands!" Both officers pointing their guns at him. Police are heard in the video yelling at Neace to drop his weapon, which he did not do. Neace is then seen approaching officers with the knife before being shot multiple times, and falling to the ground. After Neace was shot, officers continued to hold him at gunpoint, demanding that he drop the knife. Moments after the shooting, additional police units are seen responding to the scene, while officers and paramedics rendered aid to Neace on the ground. Neace was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he died.
