A woman has been run over by a ute after throwing an object at the driver in a terrifying road rage incident.
A bystander captured the moment a 26-year-old woman was left with a grisly leg injury after an altercation with a male driver, 42, outside a 7/11 near Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast at 5.30pm on Friday.
In the video, the woman is seen getting out of her blue Subaru and throwing an object at the man's windshield.
The driver of the ute initially attempts to swerve around the Subaru but instead runs her over.
As the woman falls to the ground beside her car, the ute's tyres are seen bouncing over the lower half of her body.
The woman immediately clutches her legs to her chest as her male passenger runs over to help. He is seen filming the driver of the ute, who gets out his car and walks towards the woman sitting on the ground.
As he gets within a few metres of the injured woman, the man turns back to his car and drives away.
Another witness is seen approaching the woman on the ground to offer assistance.
Police and paramedics attended the scene and transported the woman to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with leg injuries.

the cunt who drove over her can be seen to be deliberately targeting an person who on the road.
She was run over deliberately and the driver responsible will be gaoled and fined and
hopefully she will sue his house off of him .
If you think for 1 nanosecond that the arsehat who drove his car over a person who is/was on the road - regardless of the reason - then you should be treated very very poorly indeed.
Borderline attempted manslaughter may be possible and in Queensland Australia where this appears to have happened there are some of the most fierce laws against this kind of behaviour of putting someone's life on the line.»
