At approximately 3:30 a.m., December 14, 2023, patrol officers observed a red truck known to be stolen. Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however the driver fled briefly before coming to an abrupt stop. The driver, however, refused to exit the vehicle and revved the engine multiple times before driving forward and striking a police vehicle, then reversing and striking a second police vehicle. She was eventually removed from the vehicle and taken into custody.
The 34-year-old woman is charged with Assault (x2), Fail to Stop, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Impaired Driving, Refusal, Possession of Methamphetamine, Obstruction, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
