I saw a video of a parent saying that hearing his daughter was dead rather than captured was a relief, because then she wouldn't be tortured & terrorized for hours/days/weeks. Then he burst into tears. How heartbreaking for the parents of these children to see this abomination. This is not war, these children are innocents. No excuse suffices.
