During the Carnival celebrations in Penipe, near Riobamba, a bull charged a citizen in the middle of the street, generating moments of tension and alarm among the attendees.

 

The incident occurred during the traditional "pamplonada", a popular activity in the province in which bulls are released into the streets as part of the carnival festivities.

 

These types of events, although part of local tradition, reopen the debate about the risks to participants and spectators in public spaces.
