When politicians are repeatedly voted into office by the moronic voters of both parties this is what you get. Career politicians that lust after power beyond their ability to govern.
Pilots are forced into retirement because the FAA recognizes that the “fit for duty “ requirement diminishes with age. That includes both mental and physical health. That’s understandable because of the value put on a human life.
At the same time a politician’s “fit for duty” status impacts human life. The difference? One has an immediate affect and the other a more gradual affect spread over time.
Can a politician introduce a bill called “A better Life For a Dignified Retirement” bill that, behind closed doors is know as a “Term Limit” bill?»
