Defendant provided me her Driver's License and vehicle insurance. While speaking with Defendant I smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage from Defendant and/or vehicle; Defendants eyes were bloodshot and watery. I asked Defendant to exit this vehicle where I explained the reason for the stop. While outside of this vehicle I continued to smell the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath as she spoke. I asked Defendant how much she had been drinking and she admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage "almost a beer" approximately 11 hours hour prior to this traffic stop.
