Manhattan: West 18th Street & 8th Avenue, NYPD officers on foot patrol observed a 32-year-old person with an open bottle of alcohol on the public street.

When officers approached her, she became violent and started throwing glass objects, silverware, and chairs from the outdoor dining structure.

One of the officers sustained a laceration to his left hand from the glass that was thrown.

The female was tased and arrested, and the officer was taken to the hospital.
