The man who was killed was accused of pulling out a knife when police and a Walmart employee confronted him. The man was in a motorized wheelchair and had his back to the officer when he was shot, according to the video of the shooting shared by Tucson Police and Tucson Police Chief Chris Magnus. The shooter, officer Ryan Remington, had been on the Tucson Police force for four years.
