The confrontation began around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2025, when a deputy stopped 43-year-old Jose Neftali Martinez-Nolasco near Fruitdale and Leigh avenues for expired registration tags. Prosecutors said Martinez-Nolasco briefly drove away before stopping again, barricading himself inside his vehicle and refusing to come out. For approximately two hours, deputies, San Jose police officers and a mental health crisis team attempted to persuade Martinez-Nolasco to surrender. According to the report, he told deputies he was struggling mentally and financially, wanted to die rather than return to jail and was armed with a knife. Deputies utilized pepper balls by firing them at Martinez-Nolasco, prompting Martinez-Nolasco to exit through the passenger door carrying a 9-inch knife. Authorities said he charged at deputies and was struck with multiple less-lethal rounds before falling to the ground. Martinez-Nolasco then got back up and charged again while still holding the knife, despite repeated commands to drop it and additional less-lethal rounds, the report said. Deputies Jose Rios and Douglas Ulrich opened fire, striking Martinez-Nolasco six times, ultimately killing him. A preliminary toxicology screening was positive for methamphetamine and amphetamines. The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office concluded the deputies reasonably believed they and others faced an imminent threat and were legally justified in using deadly force.

Attempted murder suspect attacked Simi Valley officer at hospital before shooting

The attempted murder suspect who was shot by a police officer earlier this month at a Thousand Oaks hospital attacked her and hurt himself with a broken piece of glass while hospitalized, the Simi Valley Police Department said in an update on Tuesday. Luis Ramirez-Macias, 46, of Simi Valley, was arrested on July 2 after officers were called to a Simi Valley home that morning for a call of a domestic dispute. Responding officers found Ramirez-Macias and his wife with stab wounds, then learned that the man attempted to kill his wife and harmed himself. Both Ramirez-Macias and his wife were hospitalized for their wounds, with the suspect transported to Los Robles Hospital. The Simi Valley Police Department said that while he was hospitalized, Ramirez-Macias grabbed a glass medication vial, broke it to use as an edged weapon and hurt himself with it. He then attacked Officer Carly Grice, who was supervising the suspect in the hospital, the department said. During the attack, Officer Grice shot Ramirez-Macias with her gun. The man was treated for his injuries and then held at the hospital for several days. After his release, he was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail. Police did not specify the extent of the officer’s injuries. The department said Grice joined the Simi Valley Police Department in 2021. It’s unclear what charges Ramirez-Macias faces or if he has an attorney who can speak on his behalf.

UNCENSORED: Florida Mom Pours Hot Wax on Terrified Daughters, Sets Clothes Ablaze for Views

A Florida mother in her 20s is facing multiple felony charges after social media videos showed her inflicting physical harm on her two daughters. Meliza Campos-Sanchez posted videos on Instagram, where she has over 57,000 followers, where she can be seen pouring hot candle wax on the children and setting fire to clothing inside their home while the children are present. The 26-year-old mother was arrested on Monday by Miami authorities and was charged with multiple felony charges, including one count of first-degree arson and three counts of child abuse, according to court records. According to a probable cause affidavit, “One video shows the defendant in the kitchen of her home, using lit candles to pour hot melted candle wax on her own leg, and then in the hands of her two daughters.” The children appear visibly terrified as she continues with the dangerous act. The children sob and plead with her not to pour wax on them. In another video, she can be seen wearing a silver mask, a short burgundy dress, and black underwear while “dancing seductively” and singing in Spanish in her kitchen with a red wand lighter in hand. Investigators reported that she then dropped two black articles of clothing onto the kitchen floor, soaked them with liquid from a clear plastic bottle, and ignited them using the lighter. The video captures a “large flashover of orange flame.” She then took a glass mug and threw it in the flames. The mug broke. She ignored the burning flames and continued to dance. Campos-Sanchez “lifted her dress to her chest” before removing the mask. The suspect’s six-year-old daughter told detectives she and her sister were in the laundry room next to the kitchen. They saw their mother set fire to the ground. “Afterwards, (the six-year-old) stated that her mother brought her and her sister into the kitchen, and began pouring what she describes as ‘HOT WATER OR AGUA’ from the lit candles (melted candle wax) on herself, (the 6-year-old), and her sister,” the affidavit states. After the flames were put out, she threw wax on her children. The investigation began after Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and local sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported residence fire at Campos-Sanchez’s residence. First responders arrived at the scene and discovered charring and physical damage in the center of the tiled kitchen floor. Investigators also recovered evidence from the scene, including a silver mask, a red wand lighter, and a clear plastic condiment bottle suspected of containing rubbing alcohol, according to a probable cause affidavit. Her husband had been away from home. He told detectives that he had been staying with the suspect’s in-laws for a week before the incident occurred. He added that the two had been facing rough patches in their marriage and that his wife tried to take her own life at some point in the past. Campos-Sanchez was first taken to a hospital and placed under a temporary mental health hold under the Baker Act. After her release from the medical facility, Campos-Sanchez was taken into custody by deputies and booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Institution. She is scheduled to appear before a judge on Tuesday for a bond hearing.

Man poses as laptop buyer at Wimauma Wawa, takes off when couple hands it over

A man was arrested after deputies said he posed as a buyer and stole a laptop from a couple at a Wawa in Hillsborough County on Tuesday. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said it was called to the Wawa at 16620 US Highway 301 in Wimauma for a reported theft. Investigators said they learned that a couple had met a man they believed was interested in buying their laptop. When the couple handed it over, surveillance video captured him taking the laptop and running away. While searching for the suspect, deputies said they found the sliding glass door of a townhome open, went inside and found the hoodie the suspect was seen wearing during the theft. Deputies said they set up a perimeter and the Aviation Unit spotted the suspect walking on Nebula Court. The suspect, who was identified as 23-year-old Jeremiah Carson Jr., was arrested and charged with grand theft, resisting officers without violence and burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.

Atlanta officers rescue kidnapped sisters from sweltering trailer

Dramatic body camera video shows police in Georgia cutting into a windowless trailer and rescuing two young sisters who had been reported missing days earlier. Officers with the Atlanta Police Department found the 4-year-old girl and her 11-month-old sister Monday after hearing a child crying inside the trailer, police said. Both children were in good health and have been reunited with their mother. Police arrested 42-year-old Lakesha Brown, an acquaintance of the children’s mother who had been babysitting them. Brown was charged with kidnapping and ordered held without bond, authorities said. The children's disappearance prompted an Amber Alert. The girls’ mother, Elecia Redding, told police Brown had agreed to watch the children while Redding went to dinner Saturday. When Redding returned, she was unable to reach Brown and reported her daughters missing. Redding said she met Brown about a year ago through an online group for mothers. Brown had posted that she offered free services to expectant mothers, and the two later became friends. “She became a family friend from when I first met her on a mom group,” Redding said. “After that, we just started hanging and stuff.” “The mother thought she was leaving her children in the care of someone she could trust,” Atlanta police Lt. Christapher Butler said. Police said a tip from someone at an apartment complex helped investigators locate Brown and the girls. The investigation led officers to the trailer Monday. After hearing a child crying inside, police cut their way in, removed both children and took Brown into custody. Butler said Brown had indicated she would return the children, but that information “turned out to be not factual.” Atlanta police said Brown was charged in Alabama in 2021 with kidnapping a 4-day-old baby. Authorities said she also had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court in that case.

A Trooper’s PIT Move Put An Innocent Elderly Pair In The Hospital

An Arkansas trooper was usspnhurt after using a PIT maneuver earlier this month to stop a suspect trying to free a traffic stop, leading to a crash that seriously injured an elderly couple. The incident happened at about 7 p.m. Aug. 5 when an Arkansas State Police tried to pull over a driver for a traffic violation along Interstate 55 in Truman, the department stated in a news release. The driver, later identified as Laloyd L. Hamilton III, refused to stop and sped away at roughly 130 mph. During the pursuit, the trooper performed a PIT maneuver to stop Hamilton's car, which overturned and flipped into another vehicle. The collision seriously injured a 73-year-old man and a 68-year-old man in the other vehicle, and they were rushed to the hopsital. Hamilton also was taken to the hospital because of injuries suffered in the crash. The trooper was injured in the incident. A search of Hamilton's car uncovered a variety of drugs, including marijuana and an unknown liquid substance. The suspect was arrested, and he faces several charges, including felony fleeing, second-degree battery, possession with purpose to deliver a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated and other counts. The incident remains under investigation.

Crazy Black Man Tries To Steal Patrol Car While Carrying a Baby in His Arms

Detroit

Mother arrested after letting 11-year-old daughter drive her to 7-Eleven

RIVERVIEW, Fla. — A Florida mother was arrested after the sheriff's office said she let her 11-year-old daughter drive her to a 7-Eleven. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to a 7-Eleven in Riverview Sunday night after the child reportedly crashed the car into a concrete barrier. The child's mother, 41-year-old Carribean Myers, allegedly allowed the girl to drive from their home to the gas station while she supervised from the passenger seat. While the child was trying to stop, she mistook the gas pedal for the brake and hit the barrier, said the sheriff's office. No one was injured, but the crash did damage the car and the building. Deputies learned Myers hadn't had a valid driver's license since July 13 and that she had previously allowed her underage children to drive. "Putting an 11-year-old behind the wheel is reckless and could have ended in tragedy," Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a press release. "This mother made a dangerous decision that put her child and everyone around them at risk. Parents have a responsibility to protect their children, not place them in situations that could get them or someone else seriously hurt. We will hold anyone accountable who puts a child in danger." Myers is charged with child abuse and permitting an unauthorized minor to drive.

Little Girl Watches Police Arrest Unfold Feet Away

A witness driving home from work came across an arrest in Los Angeles and began recording. Body camera footage released Friday showed the moments leading up to the fatal incident. On Friday, the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office held a news conference revealing the bodycam footage from the December 2025 deadly shooting at the De Soto, Kansas, Panasonic plant—where a stabbing suspect, identified as Jonathan Lunceford, 55, of Blue Springs, Missouri, was shot and killed. Body camera footage showed deputies searching the plant for Lunceford after deputies were called to a stabbing just before 11 a.m. Inside, deputies located a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. After deputies rendered aid to the stabbing victim, Lunceford crossed paths with deputies before continuing to run away in the facility. Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe said co-workers directed them to Lunceford, and he also was a clear suspect because of blood covering his arms. In the video, you can see deputies pursuing Lunceford, ordering him to stop and get on the ground. The pair of deputies deployed a total of ten taser probes. Only once did Lunceford appear affected by the tasers, going to the ground before getting up and going toward the deputies, forcing them to retreat. “Probably because of the outerwear that he was wearing and the type of construction gear, sometimes those probes don’t make contact with the skin,” Johnson County Sheriff Byron Roberson said. Lunceford appears to ignore deputies’ commands before the interaction ends with deputies firing multiple shots, killing Lunceford. Howe also said deputies were unaware co-workers had already taken the knife away from Lunceford and raised it on a scissor lift prior to their arrival. He was found with a wrench near his body. The stabbing victim, identified by Howe as a supervisor, has since recovered. He said a motive for the stabbing was never uncovered.
