A student at a high school in Los Angeles died Wednesday after falling from the fourth story of a campus building following an altercation inside a classroom, leaving students, their families and school staff shaken. The incident was reported just before 1 p.m. at Benjamin Franklin High School in Highland Park as some students were breaking for lunch. The student, identified by classmates as a senior, fell into the school’s quad and was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Los Angeles Police Department investigators are conducting a death investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fall. Video circulating online appears to show some of the moments leading up to the incident. In the footage, two students can be seen fighting inside a classroom as a teacher attempts to intervene. One of the students is knocked to the floor before crawling out of the classroom. An unhinged, 44-year-old naked man jumped off the top of the Brooklyn Bridge Sunday afternoon in front of shocked onlookers — and miraculously survived, according to cops and wild video. The nutjob affixed multiple flags at the top of the bridge and “took off clothing” after he scaled the north tower on the Manhattan side of the iconic bridge around 2:30 p.m., police sources said. The NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit tried to convince him to come down, but he leapt instead. “A guy jumped out of the top after getting naked,” an X user wrote while posting video of the disturbing jump. The man appeared to hold a piece of clothing or a bag above his head like a makeshift parachute as he plummeted into the water, the video showed. Quick-thinking Harbor Unit cops rescued the man from the East River. One of the flags was the Kazakh flag, and another was a blanket with random writing on it, althought it’s not immediately clear what it said, according to sources. He was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition. This dude breaks free from his cuff and jumps in the driver seat while the officer finds himself trying to be a back seat driver. ​A routine arrest took a dangerous turn on May 30, 2026, when a suspect managed to commandeer a Dallas Police Department patrol vehicle, leading to a swift pursuit and a dramatic highway crash. ​The incident, captured on multiple police fleet and body-worn cameras, began after 28-year-old Angel Castillo was placed under arrest and secured in the backseat of a police cruiser. While left temporarily unattended, Castillo managed to slip his handcuffs from behind his back to the front of his body. ​Body cam shows the exact moment Castillo utilized the gap in the center partition to squeeze his way into the front cabin of the squad car. ​An officer spotted the breach and immediately attempted to intervene, opening the driver-side door and demanding the suspect stop.
