An unhinged, 44-year-old naked man jumped off the top of the Brooklyn Bridge Sunday afternoon in front of shocked onlookers — and miraculously survived, according to cops and wild video. The nutjob affixed multiple flags at the top of the bridge and “took off clothing” after he scaled the north tower on the Manhattan side of the iconic bridge around 2:30 p.m., police sources said. The NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit tried to convince him to come down, but he leapt instead. “A guy jumped out of the top after getting naked,” an X user wrote while posting video of the disturbing jump. The man appeared to hold a piece of clothing or a bag above his head like a makeshift parachute as he plummeted into the water, the video showed. Quick-thinking Harbor Unit cops rescued the man from the East River. One of the flags was the Kazakh flag, and another was a blanket with random writing on it, althought it’s not immediately clear what it said, according to sources. He was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition. The incident was reported at 10:19 p.m. Sunday, with an officer working contract overtime at the Walmart Supercenter at 8000 Lakeland Ave. N. being made aware of a fight on the property. The officer found two males, one of them with a knife and the other having suffered a stab wound to the abdomen. The knife-wielding man was arrested and the other taken to a hospital. One 17-year-old was killed when he was shot in the head by friendly fire, and another 16-year-old, who had no affiliation, was walking to Starbucks after football practice and was hit by a stray bullet, and is now paralyzed. The Coney Island gangs, Fly Ooter Gang, aka FOG, and “Koney Sides” fought against central Brooklyn criminal groups, including Folk Nation, WOOO and Choo. 7 gunshot victims were reported as a result of these shootings. A terrifying scene unfolded on Sunday when a frantic mother ran into the street carrying her choking child, begging anyone nearby for help as the child was choking and struggled to breathe. Bystanders immediately rushed to assist. One person took the child and attempted to help while another quickly called hatzalah EMS. In less than 30 seconds, a hatzalah EMT was already on scene and immediately began performing the Heimlich maneuver, working quickly to clear the child’s airway. Within moments, the obstruction was dislodged and the child was able to breathe again.
