From the Albany Police Department document "USE OF FORCE - LESS LETHAL WEAPONS - GENERAL ORDER NO: 1.3.00" from 2022, I found that the police are equipped with X26 and X26P models.
Based on recent newspaper articles from late 2024 to now, I found that Albany Police Department is currently equipping the police with Taser 10.
Given this information, we can conclude that :
If the cop has a Taser 10, it is theoretically possible but highly improbable that the girl was tased. The data used here are very conservative considering that the 12m - or 40 feet - distance is a minimum estimate of the space between the officer and the girl and given that the stated Taser range is its absolute maximum, and accuracy and effectiveness decline with distance.
If the officer has an older model of Taser, it is virtually impossible that the girl was tased.»

ALBANY — City police are reviewing a recorded incident in which an officer appeared to point a Taser at a pedestrian late Friday night on North Pearl Street.
In a video obtained by the Times Union that was taken around 11:37 p.m., three officers can be seen walking south down North Pearl Street past the department store B. Lodge & Co. as two people cross diagonally through the intersection about 25 feet away. One officer turns around and appears to point a device at the group, prompting one person to run away as another screams and drops to the ground. A bright light shines from the device in the officer’s hand, and an electric crackling sound is heard.
