Seven men commit Double Homicide

Violence in Hatillo continues to claim lives. Early Sunday morning, a double homicide shook the María Reina neighborhood, when two men were shot dead in front of the Emmanuel convenience store in San José.

The attack occurred around 2:21 a.m. , as three men were talking in the establishment's parking lot. At that moment, seven men arrived at the scene, five in a white vehicle and two more on a motorcycle. According to a security video, at least five of them opened fire on the victims with high-caliber weapons.

Despite their attempts to flee, Evencio Adolfo Marín García and Misael Jonathan Aguilera Acuña , the latter of Nicaraguan nationality, were shot dead on the scene. A third man, identified as Mora Elizondo , managed to escape unharmed. Marín García was single and had no children and lived in Sagrada Familia, in Hatillo.
