«She doesn't like her face so she retreated into a delusional persona so she could pretend to be someone more interesting. Without the woke cult she would have been a normal person who struggled to overcome her weaknesses and improve what she doesn't like about herself but they reinforced her fantasies and made her feel like her little performance would keep her safe from the reality that she's not that interesting nor is she attractive enough to get the attention and social recognition that she so desperately wants.
