At midnight on October 10, a woman was found dead in the Blanco River, in the Shuar community called Yamanunka, on the outskirts of Shushufindi . According to local media, the situation was alerted when the inhabitants of the area heard gunshots.

This resident dived into the river and, with the help of his neighbors, managed to remove the body of the young woman, who was completely naked and had gunshot wounds to her body. Investigators were unable to identify her, since no personal documents were found.
