I guess they would very much like o torture them but they are in a situation where they have to hold themselves back to avoid any international scandals over human rights and martial law. The reason of these suicides is brainwashing and the reason for such brainwashing is that if they were going to die anyway the russian government doesn't have to pay their families a compensation because technically they weren't killed in action. They just offed themselves and that's their own problem as the kremlin bitches see it. Plus, if they were seriously wounded before suicide the government also doesn't have to pay them compensation for the rest of their lives. So they keep them in fear with rumors about torture and whatnot. But there hasn't been a single confirmed story of ukrainians torturing POWs. I guess there have been instances but in these cases it probably took part right there, in the trenches and the victim was later just killed, blown up or whatever to not leave any witness. You see, in the trenches, if you capture the enemy who not long ago killed your buddies and tried to kill you too, you just want to make him suffer real bad. Especially if the situation isn't the best for transporting him safely to the authorities. In the battle, if possible I would take the weapons away from them and just shoot them in balls and leave there. if they're lucky i hit the artery and they bleed out real quick but if not, it can take hours which I hope will be the case. Plus, no one can later tell it was intentional because guys get shot in the balls all the time in battle »
