INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting on Indy's southeast side Tuesday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of E. Thompson Road and S. Emerson Avenue.
When officers arrived, they located a person with gunshot injuries lying in the middle of the road. A gun was lying near the man shot.
That man, 29-year-old Gavin Dasaur, died at the scene.
