YouTuber Alex Choi is facing 10 years in federal prison for shooting fireworks out of a moving helicopter.

The stunt was filmed last year in the Mojave desert in California for the 4th of July.

Prosecutors are accusing Choi of not having a permit and bringing fireworks across state lines from Nevada to California.

He was charged with “causing the placement of an explosive or incendiary device on an aircraft.”

«LOL. Thought USA was meant to be the land of the free. Fairly sure you could do the same in UK and just lose your pilots license at worst. Here kids buy big fireworks and cause mayhem on halloween. There your not even allowed to take them over state lines? You don't need a license for an air rifle or gas gun either here.»
