In a shocking video, the moment in which a man was run over near the National University, in the La Fosa Community, San Salvador, was recorded. The images, captured by a security camera, show how a cyclist gets off the sidewalk without noticing the vehicles traveling in the opposite direction.

The incident occurred on a residential street, where a cyclist, apparently distracted, got off the sidewalk and headed toward the road. At that moment, a car traveling at high speed violently hits him, throwing him several meters into the air.
