A woman was shot to death this Friday when she was talking on the street, in the city of Trujillo , La Libertad region, the National Police reported.
The victim was identified as Margarita Celestina García Horna (53), who was attacked by a hitman in the vicinity of sector 1 of Las Palmeras, in the district of La Esperanza.
Security cameras in the area recorded the moment in which a man, with his face covered with a mask, walked towards the woman to shoot her at point-blank range, in front of another witness with whom the victim was. A little dog that was next to the victim was also shot.
