A Chinese female driver of an SUV parked the car on the left shoulder of the highway, got out of the car and crossed the road. A truck suddenly braked upon seeing this, causing the motorcycle following him to dodge. However, he lost control and was thrown into the trunk of a truck. The rider fell heavily on the fast lane and died on the spot.
The deceased was a 34-year-old Malay man from Kuantan who was a musical instrument player before his death. He was injured on the chest after the incident and died on the spot.
