A tragedy struck travel and photography lovers when Russian beautician Inessa Polenko , 39, lost her life in a tragic accident at the Gagry viewpoint in Abkhazia, Georgia. Polenko, known for her travels and Instagram posts, was trying to get a better view of the picturesque landscape when she suffered a fatal 170-foot fall.
Witnesses at the scene reported that Polenko, fascinated by the beauty of the surroundings, decided to jump over the forbidden barrier at the viewpoint to get a more spectacular shot. However, her unfortunate movement caused her to trip and fall into the void, hitting the beach at the foot of the cliff.
A shocking video shared on social media captured the distressing moment of the accident, showing Polenko's body lying in the sand as paramedics rushed to help him. Despite her efforts to save her, the beautician was pronounced dead at the nearby hospital.
