News: Sapiranga, Brazil is immersed in sadness as family and friends say their last goodbye to Natiéli Vitória Rodrigues , a 22-year-old girl who lost her life in a tragic accident in Novo Hamburgo. Natiéli's wake has begun at the Evangelical Assembly of God Church – Colina Ferrabráz and the burial is scheduled for the Sapiranga Municipal Cemetery.
The fatal accident occurred on Wednesday night, when Natiéli was traveling on a Honda Biz motorcycle with her boyfriend. According to reports from the Civil Police, the accident took place on Estrada da Integração Leopoldo Petry, in the Lomba Grande neighborhood. The motorcycle, driven by her boyfriend, collided with a Jeep Cherokee vehicle while trying to overtake and enter the oncoming lane .
On impact, Natiéli suffered the loss of one of her legs and was rushed to the Municipal Hospital, where she was unfortunately declared dead at 10:20 p.m. For her part, her boyfriend suffered an open ankle fracture and multiple trauma, but is stable after undergoing surgery.
