On Monday morning (April 1), the city of Barro Preto, in southern Bahia, Brazil, was plunged into horror when the bodies of four young people were discovered in a rural area of the municipality. The local Civil Police reported that the victims had multiple gunshot wounds and were tied together .

The young people were identified as Samyr Emanuel dos Santos Nunes , 19 years old; Gustavo Silva Lima , 17 years old; John Lenon Ramos Santos , 26 years old; and Jamylle Ramos Santos , 24 years old. According to preliminary information, the victims were kidnapped on Sunday night (March 31).
