Woman dies after being hit by train in Escobedo, Nuevo León.
A woman lost her life in a tragic train accident this afternoon in the Lázaro Cárdenas neighborhood of the municipality of Escobedo, when she was allegedly walking along the train tracks with her cell phone and headphones on.
The unfortunate event took place on the track located at the intersection of Benito Juárez and Manuel L Barragán avenues, where the woman was hit by the train and died at the scene of the incident.
According to witnesses interviewed by authorities, the victim was walking along the train tracks while distracted by her cell phone and headphones, which presumably prevented her from noticing the train passing. However, the exact circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the relevant authorities.
