Guy got suicided by either boeing or the government for blowing the whistle on their shady safety practices. Possible police cover up. They might even have been the ones who did it.
This possibly goes as high as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) since they were the ones who cleared the planes for flight against the engineer recommendations which directly lead to multiple crashes and deaths.
Boeing is done for. I don't know how their reputation is going to recover from this one.
