McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man has been hospitalized after an officer-involved shooting outside the McAllen police station, police said.
McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez held a news conference Monday, where he said the incident began at around 4:38 p.m.
According to Rodriguez, a Hispanic man was in front of the station, banging on the windows aggressively. Officers came out and spoke with him, in an attempt to de-escalate the situation
