Brakes Fail as Driver gets Out just in Time
Duration: 0:17 Views: 2.8K Submitted: 2 months ago Submitted by:
A twin-rail trailer loaded with bags of cement fell into the Xingu River on Tuesday afternoon, just as it was preparing to board a ferry that crosses the BR-230, located on the Transamazônica, in a section belonging to the municipality of Anapu, in the southwest region of Pará.
The surprising incident was recorded by security cameras, showing the vehicle careening down the ferry's boarding slope and plunging into the river in less than 10 seconds. The truck driver, luckily, managed to jump out of the cab while the truck was still moving, escaping unharmed.
