They claim felines that attacked their owner in Chihuahua
The Federal Environmental Protection Agency (PROFEPA) arrested two African lions (Panthera leo) and a Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris), for not having the corresponding registration issued by the competent authority, the authorized management plan, or the security conditions for the stay and containment of the felines, in a home in the Rincones de San Marcos subdivision, in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
It is worth remembering that a 41-year-old person was seriously attacked last weekend by a lioness, one of the secured felines, inside her house in Ciudad Juárez. The feline, which the victim had as a pet, caused bites 4 to 10 centimeters deep on his legs and arms, a 15-centimeter avulsion on his left kneecap, as well as a 20-centimeter deep injury on his neck.
