During the ceremony, the groom, Vanildo Vieira, agreed to marry Mirian Ferraz Gomes, but when it was her turn, she jokingly said "no" before immediately clarifying it was a joke. However, the judge officiating the ceremony took her initial response seriously and canceled the wedding, stating, "It's serious. Unfortunately, today, there will be no wedding." Despite protests, the judge initially refused to proceed with the ceremony.
