«@Dan During my teenage years, I desired an exotic pet, particularly a snake or lizard. Excitedly, I went to the pet store with the intention of buying a corn snake. However, when the pet store employee at the mall handed it to me, something instinctual took over, and I refrained from holding it, saying, "No, that's okay." Call me pussy, but some innate part of me recognized that perhaps we weren't meant to hold and domesticate these creatures.»
