On August 26, 2023, Athens Police Officers Valentine and Warren noticed a vehicle driving with no lights on. They initiated a traffic stop and the 19 year-old female driver quickly admitted to consuming alcohol. She was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). She lost her balance during the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test and was instantly arrested.

She was transported to the Athens police station and submitted to an evidentiary breath test (EBT). The results of the EBT and the outcome of her criminal case are discussed at the end of the video.
