On July 9, 2023, Hoboken police officers responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident, where the driver hit several parked cars. When officers arrived, they found an abandoned Nissan in the middle of the road. Other officers observed a woman matching the description of the driver. The woman was detained and a field sobriety test was conducted. She was arrested, transported to police headquarters, and refused to submit to breath samples.
