I’m glad this didn’t end badly. I’m confused at why the officers took so long to check on the kids inside the house. That would have been my first action. The call came in as assault on a child, so they should have gone in, or at least one of them, and checked on the kids, especially during the time they stood out ringing the doorbell. WTF? She could have been drowning them in the bathtub in those 15 min.
