If you want to join the Los Angeles based Crips gang, you need to go through initiations first, which means getting a beatdown by several gang members first.

This inmate got off lucky. If you google Crips initiation videos, some last several minutes and have half dozen or more gang members beating on one man, sometimes until he's unconscious.
