<p>Tacoma police say they responded to a man armed with a weapon along the 4500 block of South Pine Street, just outside the Tacoma Mall.</p>
<p>Police say the responding officer shot the man, who died. Police say they found a weapon on the scene, but did not specify what the weapon is.</p>
