TOLEDO, Ohio — A 26-year-old from Maumee was injured after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday in downtown Toledo, according to police. The crash happened around 12:44 a.m. in the 600 block of Monroe Street. Investigators said the person was crossing Monroe Street when they were struck by a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old. The pedestrian landed near 619 Monroe St. and was taken for medical treatment. Four passengers were inside the vehicle: a 20-year-old, a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old, according to the police report. The report does not indicate that the driver or passengers were injured. No arrests or charges were listed. Two men came to his stand at night and took money from his tip jar while he was broadcasting on Twitch. The robbery was captured on camera, and viewers saw everything happen in real time.
