He even wonders out loud if this is basically a scam.&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt;Hard questions we should all be asking:&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt;• How is it legal (or safe) for a company to remotely disable a vehicle while it’s moving on a public highway?&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt;• What happens if this happens to someone with kids in the car, or in the middle of nowhere, or during a medical emergency?&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt;• If you finance a car, do you really own it… or are you just renting permission to drive until they decide otherwise?&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt;• How many other vehicles already have this kill-switch capability built in that most of us don’t even know about?&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt;• And if they can shut it off for a missed payment, what else can they control or track without your knowledge?&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt;This isn’t just one guy’s bad day.
