He calls the water company because that doesn’t make any sense, he wasn’t even home most of the month

The water company tells him they no longer read meters, they instead do drive- bys. A worker drives through neighborhoods and an electronic signal is picked up from the meters recoding the readings

If the reading fails, they just estimate the bill based on the usage at this time last year

But here’s the thing, he didn’t even live in this place last year, they are estimating the usage based on the previous tenants usage because that’s who lived there

The wild thing is, I looked into it and this is legal and many water companies do this. In fact if you challenge it and want a manual reading, they will charge you a fee to have someone come out and read it

This is a scam

Woman Says Kia of Lake Charles Stole Parts From Her Car to Fix Another Car

A Louisiana woman said a Kia dealership used parts from her vehicle to service another customer’s car without her knowledge or permission, and she caught it all on camera. Shirley Poullard brought her SUV to Kia of Lake Charles on June 17 after a tire blowout. She said her vehicle sat at the dealership for more than a month with little communication from the service department. When she went in person to check on her vehicle, she found out much more than she bargained for. When Poullard arrived at the dealership, she noticed the hood of her vehicle was up. She began filming. She repeatedly asked why her engine had been taken apart. On camera, the Kia service manager admitted they had been using parts from her vehicle to service another customer’s car without her knowledge or permission. Poullard said the service manager told her multiple times that no one had touched her vehicle before finally admitting what had happened. “Taking something without permission is stealing. Which is what y’all were doing is stealing,” Poullard said. “Because had I not come up there, I wouldn’t have known. Y’all would have just threw my car back together and expected me to drive it. And later down the line when something went wrong, I would’ve been the person they tried to say was at fault.” Poullard posted the video to social media, where it quickly spread across the Lake Charles community. The footage shows the confrontation with the service manager inside the dealership’s service bay. In a statement, the dealership said: “We took your feedback seriously and immediately began an internal review. Following that review, the Service Manager is no longer employed with our company. Our team is held to a high standard of customer care, professionalism, respect, and honesty. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity, and we sincerely apologize to the customer involved.” Poullard has her vehicle back but said she still feels uneasy driving it. She is actively seeking legal representation and hopes her story serves as a warning to other Kia of Lake Charles customers.

Starbucks employees expose that Starbucks is using “blending powder”

This new powder was just introduced this month. If you drink Starbucks you should be concerned about this This “blending powder” consists of Gum arabic, maltodextrin, xanthan gum, natural flavor, silica and stevia extract (rebaudioside-A) The reason they use it is because it acts as an emulsifier and stabilizer The gums and other components create a smoother, more consistent frozen blended texture and slows separation that would otherwise happen soon after the drink leaves the blender Starbucks employees have been making videos saying it makes their throats hurt, makes them cough and makes their head hurt The silica is silicon dioxide and acts as an anti-caking agent. This is a very controversial ingredient for health concerns But it’s also a concern for these Starbucks employees because inhaling it is dangerous Fine silica dust can become airborne when the powder is scooped. Prolonged or repeated inhalation of certain forms of silica is linked to serious lung conditions like silicosis This should not be put in drinks we consume Our food is a science experiment ‘Starbucks Workers United and individual baristas have publicly raised concerns since the powder’s introduction around mid-July 2026. Reports include the powder becoming airborne easily, along with some partners mentioning symptoms like sore throats, coughing, or chest irritation’

The Classic 'Too Drunk' Dodge: Jewish Diner Tries to Skip the Bill in New York

A Jewish man in NYC eats at a restaurant, then suddenly pretends he’s too drunk to find his wallet, hoping the act will let him walk out without paying.

What we learn in School is BS

Korean blogger claimed that some Japanese restaurants use “double menus”

one with lower prices for locals and another with higher prices for tourists.

A customer busted two Shell workers running the screw scam to charge gas to other customers

“You sound like a cheap Indian scammer, baby boy.."

A woman programmed her phone to handle scam calls with an AI voice assistant using Trump’s voice.

Woman tried to use a stolen credit card during a luxury shopping spree at a Tampa mal

She successfully spent over $1,000 at Nordstrom, then went to Louis Vuitton and attempted to buy a $3,870 designer bag.
