WALNUT HILLS, Ohio - One person is dead and one person has been arrested after a shooting in Walnut Hills on Tuesday. A man was shot outside the Kemper Apartments on Kemper Lane near McMillan after noon. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. He was then identified as 47-year-old Gregory Taylor-Tolliver. A second person was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Latisa Perryman’s 20-year-old son, Jarvis Perryman, was shot to death in Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland by Christopher Manning, who pleaded guilty last week. Latisa said to Judge Steven Gall, “I told him it had to be a life in there, because that’s… my son’s life is gone. Why would we do 25 to 32? Adamu Williams, 25, allegedly punched, pistol-whipped, and strangled his girlfriend until she passed out after going through her phone. The next day, Williams drove her against her will around with a gun in his lap, looking for “a place to shoot her.” Williams then led police on a chase, and when his girlfriend escaped, Williams fired multiple shots at her. Williams was arrested for 19 charges, including kidnapping, resisting arrest, and assault. Columbus, OH - The Columbus Division of Police released body camera video showing the moments before and during the fatal shooting of a man by two officers as they responded to a domestic violence call Tuesday night. According to police, officers were called to the 800 block of Wilson Avenue near East Livingston Avenue around 11:55 p.m. on a domestic violence call. The caller told dispatchers that a man assaulted a female and said he was going to get a firearm. As officers arrived and began walking toward the home, police said they heard multiple gunshots and saw a man, later identified as 33-year-old Isawan Foster, discharging a firearm. Bodycam video released by Columbus police shows around 11:58 p.m., two gunshots are fired, and a voice shouts "Oh" multiple times. Police said Foster was armed with a gun, as the video shows him firing shots toward the building while backing out from an entryway. "Hey," the officer wearing the body camera can be heard saying before he and the other officer fire dozens of shots at Foster lasting about five seconds. The time elapsed from the first gunshot fired to the end of the officer's gunfire is about 10 seconds. The video shows Foster lying on the ground after the gunfire ends. The officer wearing the bodycam begins reloading his gun and then yells, "He's still up." The other officer can be heard saying, "Do not (expletive) move." Officers rendered aid to him until medics arrived. Foster was transported in critical condition to Grant Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. A firearm was recovered at the scene. Police previously said it’s not clear who or what Foster was shooting at as the officers were approaching. On May 17, 2026, Toledo Police officers responded to a weapons call in the 3400 block of Coral Avenue. The caller reported that a male suspect was loading a shotgun while making threatening statements, including threats to kill multiple people. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, later identified as 44-year-old Brandon Pechette, who was armed with a shotgun. Officers issued numerous verbal commands for the suspect to drop the weapon. During the encounter, officers discharged their weapons, striking the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene, and the weapon was secured. Toledo Fire and Rescue responded and transported the suspect to an area hospital for treatment. No officers were injured during the incident. Authorities said they were called to Queen Apostles School in Toledo, Ohio, at 8:45 a.m. local time after several people were involved in a dispute. The fight left a 26-year-old hospitalized with a head injury, according to the report. No students were harmed in the incident, the school said. Police said a 28-year-old woman, identified as Jessica Anderson, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Lucas County Jail, where she faces a felonious assault charge. Franklin County deputies are searching for a robbery suspect who remembered his manners. According to a video posted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, a man entered the Red Roof Inn on West Broad Street in Prairie Township near Columbus. The video showed the masked man greeting the clerk with a quick, “How ya doin’?” before demanding that they “fill the bag up.” He repeatedly told the clerk to hurry up while holding one of his pockets, which the sheriff’s office said implied he was in possession of a weapon. He told the clerk that he wanted only bills from the cash drawer and from a safe bag that was kept in a slot next to the drawer. The video then showed the man reach across the counter to take the bag of cash before saying, “Thank you.” The clerk then asked the man if he wanted the rolls of coins. “No, I’m good, thank you,” he said before leaving the hotel. “All right, have a nice night,” the clerk said.
