Pemberton Township Mayor Matthew Bianchini, as seen in video shot by a reporter with the Pine Barrens Tribune, charged a vocal critic at last night's council meeting in a moment that is already making significant waves as it is simply unprecedented in local and regional politics. The mayor had to be held back by a former police chief who was the township's director of Community Development that he had fired just two weeks ago, and was further restrained and removed from the room by an ex-cop who is now a councilman, but not before the mayor told the resident, "I am getting you – I am fu***** getting you!” The resident then demanded the mayor's immediate arrest (which did not appear to occur). Ultimately, all of those involved in the altercation were asked to leave the meeting. Sophia Dismukes never made it to the party. Her sister called for a welfare check, and Secaucus police found her slumped over and asleep in her car. The car was off. Then she started it. She said the knocking scared her. Officers figured she was about to leave and had just passed out first. Her phone didn’t help: GPS was pulled up. She said she’d drunk earlier, gone back to the car, and fallen asleep. She performed miserably on the field sobriety tests, as expected. Dismukes was booked for DWI. Authorities are investigating after a man was attacked in Newark over a parking space and it was all caught on video. Police released video on Thursday, hoping that someone can identify the suspects in the Aug. 10 attack. Investigators say 43-year-old Henry Fonseca asked two men to move their vehicles so he could go to his overnight warehouse job around 1:30 a.m. They were double-parked next to his car and blocking him in on Park Street. Instead of moving, police say the men assaulted Fonseca. One man punched him from behind while the other attacked him in the face. His wife frantically tried to get at least one of the men off her husband, but Fonseca was pushed to the ground. "They struck me on my head and various parts of my body, my back and chest, while pinning me against my vehicle," Fonseca said. "My wife intervened to help me and was also struck. I sustained head injuries and lacerations to my face and nose and I have fractured fingers." Newark police have reviewed video of the attack and pulled out screenshots of the two men they are looking for. New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill signed into law a bill that pro-life advocates warn will criminalize praying outside abortion clinics. The law makes it a crime to physically block access to facilities offering such care or intentionally intimidate people away from them. Penalties can reach five years in prison if the obstruction causes serious bodily harm. A road rage incident in Lakewood turned violent Friday afternoon, with one man arrested after allegedly attacking another driver and knocking him unconscious. The incident happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. on New Hampshire Avenue near Route 70. The victim sustained a head injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. As earlier reported, the suspect was arrested at the scene. Students were told to submit a baby photo for the yearbook. According to NBC 4 New York, one student decided to submit a photo of baby Hitler instead. An investigation is underway to determine how no one noticed the photo before the yearbooks were printed. "An image of [Hitler] has no place in a yearbook created for our students.
