A California dad walking with his 6-year-old daughter was accused of sex trafficking by a woman who claimed to “work with the feds” — because the little girl’s skin color didn’t match his, footage of the confrontation shows. The encounter happened Sunday in San Jose, according to text accompanying the video. The footage shows the woman ranting at the pair through her passenger-side window, claiming she worked with federal authorities. “I’m recording you too. I work with the feds. A wild video is circulating on social media of a physical altercation in a restaurant between two strangers, a gray-haired white woman and a younger Black man. A Black restaurant-goer, Marie Underwood, simply wanted to eat lunch in peace, but she claimed a white woman seated nearby called her the N-word (the slur was not caught on camera). Underwood immediately took out her phone to record. The footage showed the white woman cough into a napkin and then throw it at Underwood. A Black bystander suddenly intervened, telling the white woman, “Hey, we’re not doing that.” But instead of apologizing, she allegedly coughed all over him and spat on him according to the restaurant’s manager. The exchange was not fully visible in the video. Cue the chaos.
