Another reported her to an outside mental health counselor. Another complained the homework was “too much” at the beginning of the year — even though many 7th graders came in years behind because of COVID and couldn’t even add fractions.</div> <div> </div> <div>And then there was the parent who made her life miserable all year… only to turn around and complain when their child was failing.</div> <div> </div> <div>Teachers literally cannot hold students accountable when parents will find every excuse in the book.</div> <div> </div> <div>Honestly, you expect this kind of behavior from the students — not the parents. Parents are supposed to want their kids to succeed and exceed, not make excuses for why they shouldn’t have to try.
