Pinellas County deputies stopped Chloe Singletary after she was clocked blasting 91 mph in a 35 mph zone on Pasadena Avenue South in St. Pete Beach.

The officer noted she nearly took out a pedestrian while speeding.

She was headed back home after a night at her friends. The deputy initially only walked her through the eye test, but after finding empty wine bottles in her car, he had her perform the full field sobriety tests.

She passed the tests but was arrested for excessive speeding.

Authorities say 18-year-old Janek Szkaradek drove a lawnmower through a Target store on SW College Road, damaging a door, while 18-year-old Luke Charske recorded the incident. The night before, Szkaradek also used a leaf blower inside a nearby Culver’s restaurant. Police say the acts endangered others and were not harmless pranks. According to officials, Szkaradek faces charges including criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, while Charske was charged as a principal with disorderly conduct for filming the Target incident.

Auburn, WA - Police recovered a stolen car and arrested a suspect on April 4 after the driver tried to flee during an attempted traffic stop, according to information released by the Auburn Police Department. The APD was alerted after Flock Safety's automated license plate reader technology detected the stolen vehicle traveling through Auburn early in the morning, police said, allowing an officer to locate it in the area. Police said the driver initially complied when an officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but then attempted to flee. Multiple officers responded and helped disable and contain the car at an intersection. The driver reportedly refused repeated commands to exit the vehicle, and after additional warnings, officers used "less-lethal tools" and took the driver into custody without further incident. Investigators confirmed the car had been reported stolen out of a neighboring jurisdiction and that the driver did not have permission to possess it, police said. The suspect was booked into jail on charges including possession of a stolen vehicle and attempting to elude police.

One detective fired his service weapon multiple times, and the suspect was struck several times, according to Lopinto.
