Manhattan: Broadway & Vesey Street, an NYPD officer was allegedly stomped in the face, choked, and dragged onto a sidewalk while attempting to arrest a disorderly man in Lower Manhattan. According to police, a man was harassing customers and refusing to leave a store at 222 Broadway in Lower Manhattan. The suspect allegedly threatened to punch an employee in the face. Officers from the NYPD1Pct arrived and attempted to place the suspect under arrest, but he actively resisted. During the struggle, a female officer fell to the ground, and the suspect allegedly dragged her onto the sidewalk before stomping on her face and placing his foot on her neck. As an officer attempted to use a Taser, the suspect allegedly grabbed it and threw it away. The suspect then allegedly wrapped his arm around the female officer's neck and squeezed during the continuing struggle. Eventually, a group of Good Samaritans rushed to the officer's aid and helped restrain the suspect, who was subsequently placed under arrest. COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Popular Twitch streamer BenDaDonnn and his alleged security guard were arrested in College Station for an alleged altercation with police overnight. Records from College Station Police confirm that 34-year-old Benjamin Beard (known as BenDaDonnn online) was charged on Sunday with evading arrest. His bond is set at $7,000. Another man, 29-year-old Kenny Carter, was charged with Interference with Public Duties. His bond is $4,000. According to police, patrol officers were clearing people from a roadway in front of a bar when a group refused to comply with their commands. One officer tried to direct one person off the roadway, but the person reportedly slapped the officer's hand away. The officer tried to detain that suspect when another person reportedly grabbed that officer, interfering with the arrest. Police say the second suspect claimed to be the first suspect's security guard. At some point, police say the officer used a "less-lethal tool" on the first suspect as he tried to get away. The second suspect then pushed the officer to the ground as the officer tried to take the first suspect into custody. Both men were eventually arrested. Wanying "Heather" Zhang, an Irvine, California, realtor, was cuffed by federal law enforcement on Sunday before she boarded a flight to Shanghai, China, from LAX, on a charge of acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government. A therapist who ran a Manhattan practice catering to gay men was arrested for sexually assaulting two “vulnerable” patients, prosecutors said Thursday. Joseph LoGuidice, head of private LGBTQ therapy group Variety Practice, is accused of anally raping a 30-something victim in his office in November 2022, Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Claudia Khoury-Yacoub charged. The horrifying encounter came after the patient — who had been attending therapy to cope with a recent sexual assault — told LoGuidice he didn’t want to have sex because he was recovering from surgery on his anus, according to prosecutors. LoGuidice, clinical director of Liberation Psychotherapy, allegedly began preying on the victim shortly after he became a patient of the therapy group in Fall 2022, Khoury-Yacoub said at a bail hearing in Manhattan court Thursday. During a therapy session, LoGuidice allegedly first made a “flirtatious comment” and leaned in and kissed the patient, Khoury-Yacoub said. They entered the office where the defendant closed the blinds,” she said. There, the victim performed oral and anal sex on LoGuidice inside his office, according to the prosecutor. “He told complainant one to not tell his private therapist,” Khoury-Yacoub said. LoGuidice allegedly anally raped the victim in a separate incident in his office — before telling him to “attend the other sessions…. [where] men there were hotter,” according to the prosecutor. The patient suffered panic attacks after the encounter and reported it on Aug. 18, 2026, prosecutors said. Newly unsealed police body camera footage showing the arrest of Luigi Mangione inside a McDonald's restaurant in Altoona, Pennsylvania has been released. The video shows Mangione's arrest days after he shot and killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. It was taken from the police body cameras worn by eight Altoona Police officers, and shows different angles of Mangione and his questioning by law enforcement. In that video, officers can be seen questioning Mangione on December 9, 2024, before he is handcuffed, searched, and taken to a police searching. It also shows police searching Mangione and his belongings at the police station, including the moment an officer finds a gun inside his backpack. Mangione can also be seen providing police with a fake ID bearing the name "Mark Rosario," which is the same name that prosecutors said he used to check into a New York hostel prior to Thompson's murder. The release of the video is the first time they have been seen outside the courtroom. According to CNN, some of the video was played during a suppression hearing last December, when the defense argued evidence recovered during the arrest should be suppressed because Mangione's backpack was improperly searched. Mangione's attorneys have asked a judge to dismiss the state murder case against him after his guilty plea in federal court, but the judge has yet to rule on the motion. DELTONA, Fla. — An 80-year-old former school worker is facing a child abuse charge after surveillance video allegedly showed her hitting a student in the head inside a cafeteria, according to the arrest report. Maria Graham resigned from her Volusia County Schools position before her arrest, district officials confirmed. According to the arrest report, surveillance video showed Graham hitting a child in the head with enough force to jolt the student forward. A judge released Graham on her own recognizance. “Based off of the agreement between the parties, I will release you on your own recognizance. I am going to order that you have no contact with the listed victim,” the judge said. The incident happened last Thursday at Deltona Lakes Elementary. According to the arrest report, Graham told deputies the child tried to skip the dinner line and was pushing other students. Graham said she intervened and told the child to go to the back of the line. She claimed the child continued being disrespectful, so she planned to take the child to the front of the cafeteria. Graham said she may have raised her hand during the interaction, but did not recall hitting the child. A man has been arrested after a bow and arrow was fired in the street in a West Yorkshire village. Police were called to reports of a man throwing rubbish and household items out of a car he was driving on Huddersfield Road in Skelmanthorpe, at about 17:30 BST on Tuesday. It was then reported the man had got out of the car and was firing a bow and arrow at passing vehicles. No one was hurt but a number of vehicles were damaged, West Yorkshire Police said. A 68-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and remains in custody. Police said a number of scenes were in place around Huddersfield Road while officers carried out further inquiries. Det Ch Insp Oliver Coates said: "We recognise that this incident will have caused understandable concern in the community due to the serious nature of it and the fact it occurred in a busy area and was witnessed by many people.
